Suspense Films is a spin-off company of Horizon Press, which controls the rights to four riveting Dr. Alex Seacourt medical thrillers: Plutonium Murders, Doomsday Kiss, Time to Die, Conspiracy to Murder, Starlight Deaths, Scorpion Letters, Conspiracy to Murder and False Witness. Suspense Films has developed a slate of films based on these exciting novels, similar to the James Bond movies, and plans to produce four films over the next five years, with budgets ranging from $45 to $65 million.
Alex Seacourt Franchise
Plutonium Murders, a national bestselling novel, has sold in excess of 70,000 hardcovers (the equivalent of 700,000 paperbacks). Dr. Robert Davis, the author, spent nearly one year on the road promoting Plutonium Murders, appearing at 250 bookstores and conducting over 400 radio, TV and newspaper interviews. Doomsday Kiss, the second Alex Seacourt novel, is the second feature film in the slate of pictures.
Vision
Suspense Films will use the Alex Seacourt thrillers, similar to New Line Cinema's “Nightmare on Elm Street” Freddie Krueger series, to build a distribution company-and eventually become the next Viacom!
